Getting started

Every SebAuth service is reachable from a single base URL with one API key. Requests are plain HTTPS with JSON bodies, so any HTTP client works.

Base URL

base url
https://seb-auth.lovable.app/api/public/v1

1. Create an API key

Sign in, open a project and mint a key from API Keys. Live keys look like sk_live_… and test keys like sk_test_…. The plaintext key is shown once — we only store a hash.

2. Authenticate

Send the key as a bearer token. An x-api-key header also works.

bash
curl https://seb-auth.lovable.app/api/public/v1/auth/users \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_your_key"

3. Make your first call

bash
curl -X POST https://seb-auth.lovable.app/api/public/v1/auth/signup \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_your_key" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"email":"ada@example.com","password":"s3cret-pass","name":"Ada"}'

Errors

Errors return the matching HTTP status with a JSON body of the shape { "error": "message" }. A missing or revoked key returns 401.

Usage tracking

Every authenticated call is counted against the key and appears in Usage & Analytics. Published sites and endpoints live on seb-auth.lovable.app.
